ABOUT OUR PROGRAMS
Led by Dan Donahue, EMT Program Director & Captain/Paramedic with the Phoenix Fire Department, Paul Sunder, Fire Science Program Director & Captain (retired) from the Phoenix Fire Department, and Bob Dotterer, Paramedic Education Program Director retired from the Phoenix Fire Department, our nationally accredited programs provide a high-level of education & training in the areas of emergency medical services and fire science. With over 85 years of combined firefighting & EMS experience, our program directors bring a wealth of knowledge to our programs and are a great asset to students pursuing EMT, Paramedic, and Fire Science degrees and professional certifications.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS
Effective February 16, 2016, student identification is required for registration & enrollment in all non-credit & credit courses. Students will not be able to enroll unless their identification has been verified! Students can upload a copy of required documentation to eForms, mail in a color copy, or bring it in person to the PVCC Admissions & Registration Office. To upload to eForms follow this navigation: my.maricopa.edu>registration>student identity verification and follow the instructions. Admissions & Registration cannot accept any of the required documents by email or fax.
FIRE SCIENCE NEWS & INFORMATION:
Fall 2016 Firefighter Operations Academy (Fire I & II Academy)
We are currently accepting academy interest forms for the Fall 2016 semester FSC102: Firefighter Operations Academy, scheduled to begin in August 2016. The deadline to submit an academy interest form is Friday, June 3, 2016 at 5:00pm. Interviews are being held the week of June 20-24th.
