Registering for Dual Enrollment: Follow this process but please note ONLINE registration is NOT available for Dual Enrollment students.

To start the dual enrollment registration process, go to my.maricopa.edu to obtain your MEID. Click on my.maricopa.edu and follow the directions for new students. If you already have an MEID but have forgotten it, you may go to my.maricopa.edu and click on reset MEID and then click forgot MEID. You will need your MEID for placement testing and online access for payment and viewing grades.

2. Now that you have your MEID, go to www.paradisevalley.edu/dualenrollment to obtain documents and information for placement testing and course registration.  Download the dual enrollment application (2 pages).  Be sure to . . .

• Complete residency information.  Do not leave any line blank.  Fill in with NA if not applicable.
• Sign
• Obtain parent’s signature
• List the desired courses for the current semester. 
• High School official signature and SAIS number will be obtained by the college

3. The next step is placement testing. Courses requiring placement testing will be identified with a + in the course list for your high school. Placement testing is not required for courses designated occupational/vocational. Students enrolled in Dual Enrollment taking academic classes must test /and/ place into ENG 101 and RDG 101 no matter the academic class they plan to register for. Additionally, students must take the math placement test which is required for all math courses. There is no cost for placement testing. Several placement tests are available. As a Dual Enrollment student please be sure to request the COMPASS Placement Tests. Please bring the following documents with you on the day of testing. Placement testing is available at both the main campus for PVCC and PVCC at Black Mountain. Check our websites for hours of operation (www.paradisevalley.edu/assessment).

• Student ID#
• Completed dual enrollment application
• Photo ID
• Prop 300 documentation (driver’s license, AZ ID, birth certificate, passport, visa, immigration card)

4. The college will maintain an electronic record of your test results.  You will also be given a copy of your test results.  Make sure that you retain this copy and a copy of your dual enrollment application for your personal records.

5. You are now ready to register for classes.  Submit the following documents to admissions and records at either of our locations.  

• Signed and completed dual enrollment application
• Prop 300 documentation
• Payment is preferred by close of business the day of registration.  Payment may be made in person, by phone, or online.  A payment plan option is available.   Tuition assistance is also available for those that qualify.
