Center for the Performing Arts Policies:
SECURITY/BUIDLING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Creating a safe and secure environment for all of our guests and
employees is a high priority at the CPA. It is our responsibility to
make sure the people who spend time at this facility are safe and
secure. We will take the necessary measures to provide a pleasureable
and safe environment at all times.
PARKING
Parking
at the CPA is free. Spaces are located to the east and the south of the
facility, just off of the 34th Street/Union Hills Rd. entrace. Spaces
for disabled drivers are available near the east side entrance into the
CPA.
SMOKING POLICY
The CPA is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is not permitted in public
areas of the building. Smoking areas are located outside the venue.
SOLICITATION/VENDING
The CPA does not permit unauthorized soliciting or collecting of
contributions, vending, distribution of flyers or other
promotional/advertising materials on the premises.
TICKET POLICY
A valid ticket for the event is required for admittance unless
otherwise indicated. Children two years or older must have a ticket for
admittance unless otherwise stated. Children under two can sit on a
parent’s lap.
ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL
No Refunds, Exchanges are permitted with a $2 exchange fee.
BOX OFFICE INFORMATION
The
Center’s box office is open Tuesday through Friday from 12 noon until
5pm. The Center accepts cash, personal
checks,
American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa. Refunds
are offered for canceled performances only. Discounts
are available for groups of ten or more.
LATECOMER SEATING POLICY
Patrons
arriving after a performance has begun may be asked to wait in the
lobby. At the appropriate time, latecomers
will be escorted to the back of the house and sit in the
designated seats for latecomers.
REFRESHMENTS
Concessions
are available in the lobby prior to curtain and during
the intermission.
RENTALS
The
Center for the Performing Arts is available for rental.

LOST AND FOUND
Please report a lost item to one of our ushers or to the CPA BOX Office
. To learn if a lost item has been found call 602.787.7738 the day
after the event.
CAMERAS AND RECORDING DEVICES
The use of cameras and other audio and video recording devices is
strictly prohibited.
ASSISTED LISTENING DEVICES
The CPA is equipped with an in-house transmission
system
for use by patrons with partial hearing or
limited range of hearing. Headsets are
available (free of charge) before every performance from the Box Office. A driver’s license is held as a form of
deposit.
ACCESSIBLE SEATING
Eight
wheelchair places are available at every performance.
Contact

a place. Patrons arriving at the Center
requiring special seating should notify the Box Office upon arrival.
INTERPRETER
Must be requested
in advance, 2 weeks prior to the
performance.
