Practical Pistol Course
Do you know what to do with a firearm? Take this course to learn handling, care, cleaning, maintenance, shooting skills and laws. This course is entry level, and prepares you to continue on to the Concealed Weapons course. Range experience at Ben Avery is during second class. Absolutely no firearms or ammunition permitted on campus. $15 fee for range usage is payable at Ben Avery on Saturday, June 4 from 10am-12pm.

Concealed Weapons
Despite the new laws, you may still need a Concealed Weapon Permit if you wish to carry a firearm. Be trained on the most effective survival shooting skills available., then apply these skills during the live fire lab. Recommended reading: AZ Gun Owner’s Guide, Bloomfield Press. At the range, you will need photo ID, handgun (limited loaners available); a zippered rug case (or other case, but not a belt holster. Limited loaners available); eye and ear protection (limited loaners available); 50 rounds of handgun ammunition; drinking water. You must be 21 years old to enroll in this class and apply for a CW Permit. Completion of this course does not guarantee you will be granted a permit. Permit and range fee not included in course price. Absolutely no firearms or ammunition permitted on campus. $15 fee for range usage is payable at Ben Avery on Saturday, May 7 from 10am-12pm. This class exceeds the state requirements to obtain your Arizona Concealed Weapon Permit.

Introduction to the Chakra System
This workshop is designed to educate individuals about the energy centers that make up the Chakra System of the human body and how they can be used as a tool toward personal introspection and enlightenment. Students will learn the attributes associated with each of the seven chakras, including the location, bodily function, gland, sense, emotional/personal qualities, color, sound, and finger/toe relationship.
