Just Clowning Around: College for the Serious Clown
There are many things to learn about becoming a professional clown. Fetching a lucrative amount of money is enticing, but there are issues to consider, such as liability, business decorum, effective introductions, presentation and tact in a variety of situations. Nothing is better than personal experience, and this course will also give clown students the confidence to perform following their 5 session course. For the first class, you will need to a notebook/pen, a 260-count bag of Qualatex balloons and a hand pump for inflation (both available at Easley’s Funshop). Other clown supplies and materials will be discussed during the first class.

New! Confidence Through Acting
You too can develop acting/public speaking skills! Whether you want a class to help you overcome your shyness, make you more confident in front of a crowd, or to try your hand at creating a believable character, Acting for Beginners is a fun and exciting way to do all of the above and more. In this class, students will learn various warm-up techniques that help vocal control and teach you how to work with your acting peers as well as some improve games that help you learn how to think on your feet. There will also be monologue and scene work with the option to perform them in front of an audience, preparing the student for the next step in acting! No class July 28.
