New! The Creative Journal: Awakening the Artist Within
Like any journal, this one will be personal and explanatory. As a class we will focus more on the process of making art and connection and less on the product. By incorporating writing exercises, observations, readings, meditations and art techniques, your journal will be transformed from a simple diary to a visual documentation of yourself, your feelings, your environment, and your experiences. We will explore page preparation techniques; experiment with color media, collage, print/stamps and other embellishments; and all while welcome the power of your inner artist through creative play, positive observations and relaxing meditation.
