New! Introduction to Emotional Intelligence
What is Emotional Intelligence (EI)? This introductory workshop will give you an overview of the Emotional Quotient (EQ) and the impact it has on your professional and personal lives. Most of us know what IQ is, but the latest quotient in the world of business and Organizational Behavior is EQ – Emotional Quotient. Emotional Intelligence is the ability to be aware of our own emotions and those of others. It can also distinguish between whether others are drawn to us and whether others want to avoid us. What has been found through research is that EI can result in increased profitability, better retention of top performers, and reducing stress. You will learn the difference between IQ and EQ and discover your own EQ competencies; how to use EI principals in your professional life and your personal life to build lasting relationships; and reduce the damaging effects of stress on your health. Materials/workbook is $25 and must be downloaded from www.charlotteprestoncoach.com prior to class.
