Use this list if you are painting with oils.

Following is a list of suggested supplies or use supplies you already have.

Palette

Cadmium yellow light

Cadmium yellow medium

Cadmium orange

Yellow Ochre

Burnt Sienna or Transparent Red Iron Oxide

Cadmium Red Light

Permanent Rose

Alizarin Crimson

Ultramarine Blue

Sap Green

Viridian

Titanium White

(I also have Quin. Violet and Magenta, Cobalt Violet but you can add these later if you.)

Or a Limited Palette of:

Cadmium Orange

Canvas

Any size you wish to use. Canvas Boards are good for practice.

Odorless mineral spirits, I use Gamsol, and a leak proof carrying container such as the Holbien airtight brush cleaner.

Palette

I use a wooden palette pal with glass insert. Also available is a white plastic box with blue lid (sealable) using throwaway paper palettes

Brushes

Brights or filberts (#4,6,14)

Flats (#8,#18)

Round (#2 for detail)

Liner or Rigger #2 or #3 for signature and fine lines

Palette Knife

Roll of Paper Towels (Viva is soft)

Resource material – photographs, still life items if you prefer to set up your own stilllife.
