You will learn the basic techniques of blending and layering, how to breakdown color in each color group and create shadows and highlights. Introduction to Oil Painting NEW! If you ever wanted to learn about oil painting, this class is for you. We will discuss the brushes, paints, painting mediums, palettes, supports and other important basics. Bob Ross® Painting Workshops As seen on the PBS “Joy of Painting” program, the Bob Ross® wet-on-wet oil painting method is easy to learn - even for beginners. Complete an entire painting in one class, with no experience necessary.  Brushes, paints, palette knife and thinner can be conveniently rented for $20, payable in cash to the instructor. Supply list & photos of the paintings are at: www.paradisevalley.edu/ce. An 18x24 canvas, paper towels, baby wipes and trash bag must be supplied by the student.
