Lake in the Valley.jpg

PVCC Division of Continuing Education welcomes you to “Lake in the Valley.”

Instructor: Stephanie Denny, Certified Bob Ross Instructor

Outline:

This class will teach the basics of the Bob Ross wet-on-wet oil painting technique.  As seen on the PBS “Joy of Painting” program, this technique is easy to learn – even for beginners.  Students will complete an entire painting in one class.  The project “Lake in the Valley”, is framed beautifully with evergreens, in a wooded scene that overlooks a peaceful lake.

Class will begin promptly at 8:10 a.m.  Please plan to arrive at least 20 minutes before class to set up your workstation.

Supply List

Note: For best results, Bob Ross brushes and oil paints are recommended.  These supplies may be purchased at Michaels Arts & Crafts stores (but don’t wait until the last minute – buy your supplies early, as these products sell out quickly).  Students may bring other brands of paints or brushes, but success with other brands cannot be guaranteed.

Rental of certain supplies for the class is available for a fee of $20.00.  This is a package rental fee, and none of the items may be rented separately.  The rental package includes:
