3 graphite drawing pencils (1 each of hardness 4B, B, HB)

1 X-Lg kneaded eraser

1 General's Sketch and Wash pencil plus sharpener set

1 Camel WC Round brush size #8

1 Strathmore 11 x 14" Drawing Pad

In addition, the following would be optional, and should not be purchased unless the student has discussed her or his specific needs and uses with the instructor at the first class:

Watercolor angle wash brush at least size 1 3/4"

2 sheets watercolor paper (at least #140 lb, cold press, 22" x 30", Arches white)
